Sony's arrogance can never truly vanish. The Kevin Butler ads are not funny and I don't find them like that. At all. The ads need to show people gathering around and having fun with one another when playing the PS3; the Wii ads got the advertisement right as they showed diversity with races of friends, young and old, and family; just how it should be like if people gathered around to play a board game.
On top of that, the Kevin Butler ads show too much pride, and pride goes a long way because Sony is in last place and they are in no position to act all high and mighty. This is my opinion, so don't take offense to it as me flaming the system, Sony's marketing, and Sony itself; I just don't like their advertising, even though they do have good products like the Bravia HDTVs and the PS3, and it's a good system.
And to agree with NeoRatt, if the PS3 'only does everything,' why can it play games from 1994 and not 2000?? That is one major fault that Sony is advertising until you read the fine print on the PS3 box. But hey, it's Sony's decision on how they want to advertise the PS3. People (like the users who replied on this thread) may like the humor in the Kevin Butler commercials, I don't because I don't find them funny, that's all
