Oh, i'd love to hear this one explained.


Name a truly great Wii game that isn't Zelda/Metroid/SMG. One that can compete with the Demon's Souls and Mass Effects and Uncharteds of the world. Good luck.

I think this is true.  I mean, when comparing "Epic Movie" with "Shawshank Redemption", you're telling me one can't objectively see excellence in filmmaking in one and not the other?  Wii fans always reach for the "everything's subjective" line, but is it?

I hate The Godfather. I'll throw that out there right now. I find a lot of supposedly "great" movies unwatchable. Equally, standards of excellence are only temporary. The Disney movie "Alice in Wonderland" was received to poor critical and financial acclaim when it was released, and it wasn't until the late 60's when it really started to be understood as the classic it is today.

Why I would like to play Demons Solus, Mass Effect or Uncharted when I can play Zelda/Mario/Metroid that are the franchises with the highest rankings?

Why dont you tell us three games from Xbox360 and three from Ps3 that can compete with the "greatness" of Zelda/Mario/Metroid?

Uncharted=great franchise, but not like Mario/Zelda/Metroid, maybe twenty years later...

You're right, mistakes are sometimes made.  But the two movies I mentioned will never reverse with Epic Movie suddenly being the better movie.  The talent in one and not the other is obvious.  I am NOT saying Wii has no games, it has quite a few good games.  But I don't think it has as many games made with real effort than the PS3, 360, and absolutely the PS2.  You may say the Virtual Boy is better than the N64, but you will be laughed at, by everyone.  There seems to be a limit to subjectivity.  The N64 is irrefutably better.
