No console (so far) seems like the PS2 to me.
Wii has the sales but it's library lacks breadth next to PS2 and it just doesn't feel to me as dominant (perhaps inevitable due to the SD/HD split and sense of a fragmented market)

As far as I´m concerned, it´s the DS that is the closest to the PS2...not the 360, PS3 or Wii.
No, and the funny thing is that out of the five consoles it's probably the least like the PS2.
The Wii and DS have most of the market share, the PS3 and PSP have the SCEJ/A/E games and a lot of exclusives from Japan, while the Xbox 360 only shares some previous PS2 exclusives series with the PS3, but without the exclusives.

Differences: PS2 was the weakest of its gen technically while the 360 isnt PS2 was a god compared to the 360 in both First party/Third Party exclusives Online play was not a big selling feature of the PS2 while with the 360 is. |
No, sorry, PS3 is closet to the PS2 this gen. The fact that they are both PlayStation consoles made by same company alone trumps your entire argument
IMO we've reached a point in a new gen, where previous gen console standings doesn't mean anything anymore...And for those who relate Wii's success to PS2 should stop!!
