Demon's Souls is owned by From Software (Not SCEJ they just published it)

WKC, Rogue Galaxy, Dark Cloud are all owned by Level 5 (SCEJ just published them)

They do own The Legend of Dragoon, which sold well so no clue why they wont make another (I want it!)

Am pretty sure Sony owns WKC, Dark Cloud and Rouge galaxy

not sure about DS

They own DS too look this is from DS  official site:

Because they've been focusing on the PSP?

Yes.

Buy Patchwork Heroes, everyone!

Most of their effort has gone to the PSP. Aside from Team ICO and Polyphony, when ever they attempt a PS3 game they're always working with outside sources like Level-5, From Software and Game Republic.

4 ≈ One

I would love a Dark Cloud sequel. I loved making the towns and setting them up to people's liking. And with HD graphics that game would be gorgeous. I never played the actual game of Legend of Dragoon, but the demo was enough to tell me it was awesome. So, a sequel to that would be welcome too.

Please read up on things before you speak on them please..

Maybe that's why they aren't getting made?

Perhaps the studio's wana go multiformat but Sony has exclusivity rights, therefore they are making new franchises?

Yet Level 5 are still making exclusives so maybe not, never the less I want to see a Dark Cloud this generation and I really hope they use the Dark Cloud 2 template because that game really worked, the battle system, the open world, overall style, WKC just doesn't cut it the same!

Come SCEJ, pull it together and get the developers on side, there's a cookie here for every vintage franchise that gets a new installation!

Lol, *runs to store and finds out that it's not available* sniff/

Siren: Blood Curse
Demons Souls (co developed by From Software)
Everybodys Golf 5
The Last Guardian
Gran Turismo 5
White Knight Chronicles (developed by Level 5)
White Knight Chronicles 2 (developed by Level 5)
+ a few others I may have forgotten

Everything else: LocoRoco, Patapon etc. they're developing for PSP (obviously because handhelds are dominating in Japan).

All owned by Sony my friend.

It is like dropping a piece of raw meat infront of some hungry ass dogs. Good to see. (Not to point at you CGI you just happen to be the last one :)

But either way are we sure that these devs do not own some part of these type of games tho?  Im not to sure if Sony could just make a sequel to any of the said games above without the original dev having something to do with it (that was kinda what I meant).

They can like how SE let a different dev makes each Dragon quest game.
