Oh boy... the first one was so awful its hard for me to have high expectations for this one.

I'm gonna guess the opening will be about 400K on each console.

Prediction:

PS3 - first week: 900k
X360 - first week: 900k

PS3 - lifetime: 4.2 million
X360 - lifetime: 3.8 million

TOTAL: 8 million


900k is alot, really alot.

Even really hyped multi console games have hard time making this in their first week.

Sure the game has the Rockstar banner on it but do you guys really think it will do that good? People saying 6million+ are crazy.

GTA gets hyped everywhere and I mean everywhere, the news  spoke about how controversial it was blablah weeks before it came out. All the people protesting against it.

Red Dead is going get hyped by Rockstar but I think they will be really happy if they get 1million in week 1.

So far the critics love it, all hands on and previews are super positive. Too bad there was barely any marketing for it. I think this game can make a good couple of mils. The Xbox should sell more, since it's american theme.
