you gotta be a monster hunter God i mean the difficulty is legendary, its like a grand champion of hard games

OK... I haven't officially played Monster Hunter yet, only the demo. The controls are a hurdle... but from just playing the demo ten - twenty times with the various weapons, it is easy to say that they are masterable ( I am not a master yet, but have gotten significantly better). The way the loot system has been described to me by a few of my japanese friends is similar to WOW + token+ crafting when there are no more levels to gain. At level 80 on wow you get a token to turn in for your "gear set." Monster Hunter adds one more element of requiring specific parts to upgrade your existing weapon. It is rather more complex than Wow, and the leveling system (though not present explicitly) is there implicitly. New weapons and armor make you sizably better as a character.
I pre-ordered the game and played the demo and I'm not sure this series is for me...

hey! its not that hard. infact its not hard , you just got to have good timing.
- Wasteland - The Mission.
My advice is to try the demo ... some were sold on the idea from that, others were very turned-off by it.
I had the bundle pre-ordered for a while now. The demo just solidified that it wasn't going to be a wasted purchase.
Get if you are able to invest 50 + hours into a game without getting bored with it. MH3, I think, requires a lot of patience.
GETTIN' CHRONOCRUNK
well i am a fan of MH (yes ever since it came out for the PS2) and i was actually turned off
because of the steep learning difficulty. The tutorial takes up like 5 hours to complete and you will have to keep practicing until you master your weapon. It helps if you have some friends to play with. In order to defeat the BOSS monsters, you will have to study them. Practice your timing and find vulnerable spots where you cannot get attacked and have sufficient time to escape. Patience is key in this game. Without it you would be monster food xD Oh and you will need to invest ALOT of time to "complete" the game. It took me 100+ hours to finish the portable versions xD

If you call out fans of a series if you should get something they are probably going to tell you yes... I played the demo and I am pretty sure it is not for me.
