stating the blindingly obvious.

Awww, I know it is hard getting used to having features on the (in your opinion) "lesser" console when your favourite one ain't got shit. Oh wait, you got the AMAZING, new facebook app though, so the box can help you through all the hard internet navigation you would have to MANUALLY do with the SHITTY PS3 browser! Oh noez, it's so hard!! The PS3 browser sucks. I wish I didn't have one, so that when my Windows PC broke down, I would be without internet! It would be really BAD, no sorry, a NIGHTMARE to have the PS3 as a working backup option. I also heard it's a nightmare to be able to enjoy youtube and gametrailers on your big screen HDTV... Please, free me from these nightmares! I can't use my console any longer... having features are crappy.... I just want my console to overheat so I don't have to suffer through it's crappy features. Maybe I chose the wrong console...

If you agree with this moron Greenberg that the PS3 browser is "An Absolute Nightmare", you SUCK! I'm sorry, I'm just STATING THE BLINDINGLY OBVIOUS.

OK I fess up I do think that the PS3 Browser sucks and is pretty much an absolute nightmare because why would you bother if you could use an alternative browser even IE6 back in 2001 offered a superior experience.

What I do not agree with, is just because it sucks does not mean it is not useful as clearly even a painfully crap browser is better than none up to a point (At some point the frustration overtakes the benefits).

Of course interestingly you bring up Facebook which is actually a none argument as that is fully integrated and superior because of it. Also the 360 is capable of accessing certain features through various media centre devices so I can for example access YouTube through my Xbox without a browser by using say TVersity. This uses the Network upnp which the 360 supports (I guess this does not work for USB devices).

Fortunately your wish to have your console overheat has already been granted, and yes you may have but I suspect you will never know.

@ Ping_ii

Agreed, the Amiga 4.x platform still has various developed not so good browsers (devs are working on porting the Firefox rendering engine though).

Sometimes even something good comes from this, like an Amiga specific browser called IBrowse introduced tabbed browsing which was later adopted on all main browsers as well.

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."

PS3 vs 360 sales

why waste your time with the shitty browser?

lol...

why cant people accept that... most people do i guess anyways bar the fanboys...

not exactly smart... =S

I'm not surprised... Has anyone copied anything off of Sony this generation?

Home button, on top of my mind

I agree, that apps are superior, but that is why website are building them in, especially for TV browsing.

What Sony offers is freedom, to go to any website and view it through your TV.

What MS offers is censorship. they only want you to view specific websites, that they have agreed and that they can make money from by allowing their customers to view them. MS have decided what websites you are allowed to view through your TV.

Browsing through the TV is inevitable, it's going to happen, it is happening. Its a real shame they want to deny Xbox fans that experience.

Yes, Microsoft tried to copy Sony by using HD-DVD as their high-def movie format. That failed.
