Alan wake looks better than any game this generation, the 360 has pushed the boundaries of graphics once again!

GEARS 2 was the graphics king, now ALAN WAKE takes its place.

I don't know about the Alan Wake screenshots, some of the pics look really good and then some just look ugly in comparison, especially the indoor ones. I think Uncharteds colour also helps a bit.

they both look awesome but you have to remember something ,naughty dog made 2 games with online co-op and everything(with bazillion awards) less than the time it took remedy to make just alan wake.

I am still yet to see anything... In ANY game, that can match the Village scene in Uncharted 2.

very hard to compare both games but in my eyes alan wake > uncharted 2.
Uncharted 2 is has more poly but alan wake images look overall better (maybe its cause of the lighting engine). this is my impression ahve to play full game before giving final judgement.

I can't wait to play Alan Wake. Graphics are just one tiny thing of a gaming experience.

I am happy that the graphics of the Xbox 360 can still put a smile on my face. That is great for a console coming in its 6th year in a few months.

I like both visually and I still need to find a forum that cares about graphics, but not in a hardcore way and ePenis-fights. People are counting pixels for splinter cell, comparing games, multiplat releases for their CGI-stuff etc. Not my cup of tea. If a game looks good, that is enough for me. Gears of War 2 still looks awesome to me.^^

Anyway, what do you think might be possible in 3 years when the next generation of consoles will be released?

anyways i am going to enjoy alan wake regardless as graphics are top notch.

Shambala = the most beautiful city in any action game i've ever seen.

btw how can Chloe not be annoyed by her hair sticking out infront of her face like that all the time? doesn't it get into her eyes/nose  ? i get annoyed when this happens to me.
