As, you know, HeartGold and SoulSilver were released not too long ago. In 2004, FireRed and LeafGreen, remakes of the original Red and Blue Versions, were released. Next up for a remake is Ruby and Sapphire. Do you think it will happen?

They will probably come a few years after the 5th gen, much like HG/SS with the 4th gen.

I hate how people give 3rd Gen crap. They most likely will but I don't think it'll be compatible with the current games.

I assume you're referring to me. When I said "low point", I meant by sales. It didn't drive the GBA quite like Pokémon drove the GB and GBC.

I find it funny that Ruby and Sapphire are so maligned. The game is actually awesome, the region of Hoenn is one of the best, right up there with Johto (better than Kanto). The region has so much beauty and variety; clearly a lot of effort was put into making it more than just 'town here...path...town here'. There are long routes full of tall grass and rain (new at the time), towns made of treehouses, towns floating on logs, a town inside a crater accessed by diving in the sea and resurfacing in its lake...it had so much imagination.

By contrast, Diamond/Pearl's Sinnoh region is a joke. It's so bland, uninteresting and largely very characterless. The only reason people prefer D/P to R/S is that the DS has been so huge and the games have Wi-Fi.

I want to. I don't know why everyone complains about RSE, it's the second best generation to me.
