I was simply browsing the web and came across this article http://techland.com/10-animal-crossing-2002/ as you know many websites as well as people and organizations throw together lists such as "Best Games of the Century" etc etc etc. But this one takes it to a whole new level of madness, at least from my point of view, please note that this list was published in December 09 and it includes console as well as PC games.

The list is as follows:

  1. World of Warcraft
  2. Guitar Hero
  3. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
  4. The Orange Box
  5. Halo 2
  6. Wii Sports
  7. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
  8. The Sims
  9. Gran Turismo 3
  10. Animal Crossing

Any thoughts?

Speaking of Techland, where the fuck is Dead Island!?

I think that's a different Techland, though.

No it isn't. Animal Crossing released in 2002 though, i think.

If it was from 2002, games like The Orange Box, WoW, Wii Sports... All wouldn't be on it.

Bang on Carl, Animal Crossing was released in 2002 :| which means it has been around for 8 years, i still remember how people were all going crazy about this game and yes...terrible list.
