Every time I think I I'm finished with this game another dangling carrot appears in front of me... :/

Yay, beat Lagi and Gobul and Rathian and Rathalos in the arena finally.

Good to hear. So you have gotten the Champion's Badge Award. I still try to beat the qualification times in the two arenas left.

The arena is one part of this game I refuse to touch.  Mainly because I don't like any weapon that's not a Great Sword.  I'm gonna start experimenting with the Long Sword.  Sword and Sheild is cool but far too weak.

But quick ;)

Yesterday I helped some random HR 10 guy with a few quests. Two other guys joined in later. Also, I have completed another one of the single player urgents at the end of the game - Uragaan & Agnaktor. Surprisingly easy with my HR Rathalos set and a Demonbind. I still tend to be afraid of these quests, even though I know that they are designed to be beatable with low rank equipment (probably).

I may continue with these random sessions, for months I did not touch this game but now it's fun again. I still have a lot of things to do. Arena quests, enough Alatreon hunts to learn how to fight him properly, killing Joe for the first time...

The offline urgents are all I have to complete.  And you're right, they're def designed to be beaten with low rank gear.  I did the first one and just embarrassed Ian and Alos with my maxed Jho armor and Epitaph.

I wish there was a way for Capcom to put up more quests and extend the life of the game.  After 270 hours, I feel like I'm officially done after I complete those bonus offline urgents.  I remember there was a time I thought this game was endless!  Weird feeling like you've done it all finally.

Actually, there IS a way to do that. And it's the same way they used in the previous Monster Hunters - they can release a G version. I will definitely buy it if it comes out.

Would love a G version.  Doubt Capcom would release it though...  I remember Jarrod being confident that it'll happen.  Hope so.

The party don't stop for some people apparently.  I saw someone who was HR 560 the other day... O_O
