There was some seriously incompetent use of the Ballista Binder in that run. It was embarrassing.

I made an offline arena fight (Lagi & Gobul) to get some more Gobul coins. I did a really good time (under 16 minutes). And I got a Golden Medallion.

Well, I finally did it. I finally completed the offline story and drove away the Ceadeus on my second attempt. It was a bit anti-climatic as it was not one of the harder battles, but it was still satisfying to crack his horn and drive me away. After the final cinematics, I was pleased to see there are a few more urgent requests to complete. This game gives very good value for the money. A long offline story AND a robust online multiplayer seems to be a rare find.

I needed another Gobul Coin. So I did the Lagi & Gobul arena fight again. I made a new personal record time and I got a second Golden Medallion. Also I had enough Coins for the Ranger's Espadrilles. Next item to build will be the Ranger's Headgear. I used the Archer's Turban for my ranger sets until now, because of the better skill points. But I have a armor set, where I need less skill points. The better defense of the Ranger's Headgear will improve this set.

I made the Rathalos & Rathian arena challenge for the Rathalos Coins I need for the Ranger's Headgear. And I got a third Golden Medallion. It's strange that I got 3 in such a short time span.

Today in the morning I made the arena challenge again. Both limped in under 15 minutes and I still had all the items. But I totally screwed up and wasted the items and ended with a time of 20:41. Just 41 seconds faster to qualify ... and it was totally possible ... damn

I haven't played this game in a couple months as there are just too many other games to play right now, and for a while.

Sad to say, It's possible I might not play this game again. The only thing keeping me in the frame is the fact that I could do with some Ala runs, and the vested 400 hrs of playtime.

I still (still!) need one fricking dose of Elder Dragon Blood so i can complete the Alatreon Lance. I could be persuaded to do some Alatreon runs with a group of assured competence, since Alatreon can get it in body carves and quest reward (iirc)

But only with a group i was positive was stellar

Lol, i'm glad you got some good groups. It really helps to have gunners with sleep ammo. Seems you've had some bad luck with EDB, but I doubt you need to 20 rounds of anyone to get them...if you have to do more than 4-5 then you're pretty dam unlucky.

Got all the coins to make the Ranger's Headgear and now have the complete Ranger Outfit. I decided to get some Lagi Coins, so I can trade the Prize Gold Sword when I am online again.
