Play the quests solo or with randoms. Both makes the game even more challenging.

| BoneArk said: I have bad news to report. I won't be playing MH3 for about 2-3 weeks and possibly will never be back on it. I been having issues w/my Wii for 2 months now, my Wii freezes when I on the Wii menu and sometimes my Wii freezes when I play my games. I got an error message saying that I have corrupt data and now I decided to send my Wii for repairs. There is a possibility that I could lose all or some of my Wii data, I don't think I will play MH3 again if I end up losing all my MH3 data. |
I sincerely hope that your Wii doesn't lose any data. I understand how valuable it is.
@ moreno I'll help you whenever you want if you see me on here or online on Monster Hunter.
@ Soriku When I disconnected durin Super Ala, I dropped a F-Bomb so loud that people heard it in the next time zone.

I hope I don't lose anything either. I had to pay $85 for repairs costs and shipping, this sux for me b/c I won't be playing any video games or anything until I get my Wii back.
I'll still be playing a decent bit. I'm gonna try and get like everything in the game. Well, most things.
Also, these disconnection problems are unforgivable. I hate vesting so much time and effort into a quest (especially a challenging one) just for them to revert to 'pre-quest' state. I've gotten burnt too many times, although thankfully it hasn't happened for a while.

So its not just me?
Good. Hopefully the pressure's on at Capcom to get it resolved. Yesterday was better (did you get booted from that Rathalos quest too?), but Sunday was nightmarish.

Nah it happens. The worse for me was when I was on the verge of hr31, and, no lie, about 6-7 jhen quests keep getting disconnected in a row. I complained about it in this thread as well.
And no we didn't get booted yesterday, although it took a good while again to beat thalos with the two of us, adn the other guy was only running away and healing so it was a bit annoying.
Forced to play offline again, I hunted the Ceadeus for material. And yesterday I already got the deep dragon gem and crooked horns, which I needed for my Barbarian Sharq. Next time I go online Agnaktor will get a hard time. (Still need claw plus from him.)
I also found out, that I am able to make an armor combination with Carving Master and Good Luck. The only thing missing are 3 Barioth Coins. Sadly my offline arena partner is not available. Which means I must try the arena mission with barroth, barioth and rathalos alone. None of the available weapons really suits me. I am gratefull for any hint for that mission.

Agnaktor really isn't that hard. His movement pattern is basically Lagiacrus on land, and the laser has a pretty good tell (and even when i'm stuck on that, Guard Up keeps me safe enough)
He's harder to Sonic Bomb than Diablos, though, even though he's less dangerous than Diablos overall when he burrows (mostly because it's far easier to track and block)

I don't need Agnaktor hints. With my new LS I might even try to solo him. (Maybe my comment was not clear enough.)
I need hints for the offline arena challenge against Barroth, Barioth and Rathalos.
