That was fun Seth. Hope to do it again next weekend. As for WiiSpeak, we might have to play around with the settings as well as the placement of the mic. I have found that if it is too close to the speakers, I hear more static and feed back. I am going to try and put it on the coffee table, about 1/2  way between me and the TV speakers and see how that works next weekend.

I got 1 skypiercer yesterday, need 2 more for Alatreon Revolution Great Sword. Cold Call is now open again in the event quest, I'm going to do that first than go back to Alatreon.

Well that fell through rather badly. But the Sharq event is back! I gotta play again until i have enough tickets...

One of the most annoying materials  in the game. Once you get to high rank you'll need about 4 or so for at least one weapon, and with my luck I have two that require 4 of them lol. The problem is that most monsters only drop them at a base 2% to 3%  chance and more depending on whether or not you have subquest to break something. So yeah, hours upon hours of killing the same monsters over again. So far, I've gotten 3, and I'm at HR 55. It only occurs in monsters that don't have their own gem(which are also annoying to get, especially Rathians)to drop though, and I didn't really fight them much so that could be the problem also. 

I got lucky yesterday, I killed Alatreon only twice yesterday and both times I got a skypiercer and I bought my Alatreon Revolution Great Sword.

I wanna try gunning,but, I have no idea what gunner armor I should get, any suggestions?

I just started gunning myself. I'm making a Uragaan plus set to sleep bomb Alatreon. Then I'll probably make Alatreon armor for the high defense and evasion boost, and Vangis armor for the skills Load Up and Attack up(M) which I can gem to Attack up(L). Right now I have Lagia plus and Ingot plus, which work well in the low rank games. I only play Low Rank games for now, until I get used to gunning, which should be around the same time I finish the Uragaan set. Then I should be sufficiently skilled enough for sleep bombing.
