its not the question if the 360 will achieve this, but when!

natal will boost ofc, and again with big numbers, so the doubling taking place in jan 2011 shouldn't be absurd.

Natal wont be big. Same with "Move" It wont move as many systems as you think it will. 2012 it may hit 48 million.

I'm not too surprised. 360 is by far a better console than the original Xbox, well minus the RROD at least. It has a much better library and a much better controller. I had a feeling MS's second console would sell more than the Xbox but I gotta admit I didn't think it would perform this well. I think it should top off at around 65-70 million, which is a massive improvement from its predecessor.

Its doing pretty great, and yep it ought to double the sales of the Xbox 360 within the next 12 months. I remember so many people claiming it would max out at 50-55M which isn't too far off from 48M.

lol I remember people saying that it it would stop selling after 24 million cause the only people buying 360's were original xbox owners.

Although those people are still around they just keep moving the goal posts back. Just look at this thread, some kid seriously thinks the 360 will take nearly 2 years to get to 48 million.
