JL was infamous for making "incredible" and "unbelievable" predictions about the Wii, a number of which came true, and a few others WERE a little too grandiose/extreme. But essentially, he was ridiculed because he had more faith in the Wii than most others.

I miss that guy. I've been trying to fill in his shoes from time to time, but my predictions haven't been seeming crazy enough I guess.

LMAO, good luck getting more than £5,000 for this site, let alone $410,000!!!

I've been into web design and hosting for many years, a lot of people assume a site like this is worth a lot but it isn't, apart from the adverts there isn't any money to be made here unless you have some sort of subscription model, there are no major devlopers/publishers/stores active on this site, it doesn't have the reputation of other gaming sites out there.

A site such as Neogaf however would be worth a fortune due to all the developers/publishers/store owners that are always active there, theres many sites on the internet like VG charts, there are hardly any others with a community/impact like Neogaf. that is one site that has a long reaching inpact in the gaming world.

 

P.S, no disrespect to this site at all, just stating the obvious!

VGC will be big when you see ads like "VGC gave it 5/5!". Or like how there's an IGN GOTY on the Uncharted 1 boxart, well if we see a VGC GOTY on a game boxart.

Well, I think VGC already surpassed NeoGaf in hits, or that's what Alexa.com claims. If not surpassed, both sites are fighting every week.
