The gods, the stars and the cards are all aligned / stacked against Sony. They have no hope. The value of the company will plummet so much that Microsoft will buy Sony and operate it as a wholly owned subsidiary with the lifetime profits they make from the Xbox 360.
Or Nintendo will out bid Microsoft using 1 month's profits from Wii.

GT5 is the first proper entry for the mega series on the PS3, i believe it will have a larger effect on hardware sales compared to Reach.
The 360 have been selling at a significantly lower price for most of this gen and it didn't really give them much of an advantage. Why would a Slim model kill off the PS3?
