There are 172 games that have sold between 250,000 and 500,000 units on the Nintendo DS, most of which are third party games

Being that most DS games probably break even on sales less than 250,000 units, with the massive number of profitable third party DS games it is pretty moronic to claim that only Nintendo is making money on the system. In my opinion, most third party developers should spend their resources asking why Nintendo is so successful on the DS rather than bitching that they aren’t as successful as Nintendo is.

"Only Nintendo sells on Nintendo consoles" really means "we make shitty games that can't hold a candle to Nintendo's quality"

What pardon. I pretty sure the DS has produced tons of cash. This is just a sign of creating or jumping on a band wagon before it happens. Probably want's the PSP to succeed and is hoping to derail. It's shame that many young developers today are little more than fanbois.

while I can understand how a comment like that could apply to the wii in some cases, I can't for the life of me figure out how he can just forget about what the environment on the DS is like.
