Forums - Nintendo - Zelda Wii to use Vitality sensor? Miyamoto speaks!

too many peripherals needed for one game? What's next, maybe we will be required to use the balance board in certain parts of the game?

Wait a minute, I would actually like that to happen. Okay, I will shut up now.

Sounds great! Even if Zelda Wii won't be compatible with VS it shows that Nintendo atleast have thought about using it to change the diffculty in games.

I'm also curious about how you plug in the VS into your wiimote. Would Nintendo even consider using VS in Zelda unless you could use the nunchuck at the same time?

Maybe the vitality sensor will allow other devices to be connected as well, just like Wii Motion Plus. That way, you could use the nunchuck.

I'm frying my brains to think about a scheme were we hold both wiimote and nunchuk and we're still using the vitality sensor.

It can't be...

I see this no where saying it might use it. All I see is Motion plus in Zelda and a Made up question from Miyamoto.

The final vitality sensor may have a nunchuck plug-in, taking care of the need of expansion. However, Miyamoto never said Zelda will include vitality sensor support. He was talking hypothetically how he would incorporate it in a game such as Zelda.

Counting the lumps before they are born isn't the best option.

I would like to see the vitality sensor work with the camera. If you are very calm, the camera would be steady, if you are scared the camera would shake. Something like that would be cool

How's that?

The only things we know:

- It will launch this year

- It will have motion plus for 1:1 swordplay

- It will be "different" somehow

How does that sound worse and worse?
