I think it's gunna come down to the last 2 games of the season - Rangers vs Flyers. Winner of that mini-series will make the playoffs.

Canucks and Blackhawks clinch their divisions and life gets harder for Calgary as they lost and the Avs won

The Blackhawks winning and Sharks losing has made the race for home ice in the Western Conference extremely interesting. :)

Miguel - It won't be hard to beat the Capitals. Ovie takes on most of the burdens of the team. Take him out of the game and the Caps are just a regular hockey team. Question is can anyone take him on? Either by making him take bad penalties, playing him physically, or playing him defensively. I know know if anyone will be able to do it but there will be 4 teams trying. These teams are the best of the league.

Last game of the season is a big one for the Hawks. The need to win against the Wings to get momentum going into the playoffs while deflating Detroit.

Calgary knocked out, awesome. I'm going to have to call my cousin and gloat a bit. I wonder if they're going to blow up the team - that'd be sweet to see.

As much as I'd like to see my beloved Rangers make it to the post season this year, I'd hate for them to be fodder for Ovie and the Caps in the 1st round... best to let Boston, Philly or Montreal get swept and save the embarrassment.

So I'm pulling 120% for my Blackhawks to finally end what is currently the longest Stanley Cup drought in the league! Saw the Rangers do it in '94, and dammit if the Hawks don't do it this year they'll never do it!

Hawks vs. Caps/Devils in the finals this year... I'm pulling for the Devils in the East since I'm right there and I know people who have season tickets, so I would be going to at least one game in the finals guaranteed!
