Ignoring the pointlessness of the poll.... and ignoring the fact that I don't think leo can add another option (is 6 max?) it is actually right that are isn't an option.

The question asked was who's the biggest 1st party dev.... you can't have an answer of all three when there are only three.

well, not exactly.  The question is actually "Who do you think , yes "THINK" is the biggest FIRST PARTY DEVELOPER, and delivers the best quality first party ip of the current WII/HD generation?"

While the first part of the question can only have one answer, the second part is completely subjective and somebody could think of all three companies as equal.  It is a terribly worded question/poll.

Sony Computer Entertainment... By far.

They have the most IP's.
They have produced far more quality IP's than either Nintendo or Microsoft Game Studio, probably combined.
They don't rely fully on the same series' they have relied on since they first entered the market.
They have (or will have, soon) a game for every genre i can think of.
They produce games targetted at every group. From games like EyePet, LBP to God of War, Uncharted.

Nintendo, for the amount of titles they have produced and the amount those titles have sold.

Not all titles associated with Sony as being 'first party' are really first perty. Some are simply funded with Sony money but made by secondary or independent studios (games like God of War or White Knight Chronicles are a good example). The same can be attributed to Microsoft.

While Nintendo has its own fair share of second parties and third party games they publish, they also have a laundry list of first party games that is virtually unparalleled in the gaming industry. And as can easily be seen, from Mario to Pokemon to their latest 'Wii' lineup of games, those games line the charts as some of the highest grossing games in history.

As for what I think is the 'best' first party developer, I'll just keep that in the dark.  P.S. I don't think one company is better than the other, but much of what constitutes the 'First Party Support' for Sony and Microsoft is not actually 'Sony' or 'Microsoft'.

Yes, after looking it up, I see that God of War was made bySony Santa Monica Studio.

However, I still stand by everything else I said.  As you can see with this link, Sony and its first party projects have a long way to go to amass both the amount of titles and sales Nintendo has achieved over the years.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sony_Computer_Entertainment#Software_development_studios

Now compare that to the list for Nintendo and click on any of the R&D sections.  You'll see a list for each comparable to the amount of games for all of Sony's first parties.
