That's why they have a rounded wand shape instead of a block-like remote shape, with a big ball on the end... That uses a camera to work.

-stupid image- The similarities seem too uncanny to me. It's obvious they're going for the Wii crowd. |
Show me some stupid image all you want. Neither of us can come up with a better way for a Motion Controller to "look", and when i describe them... They are actually totally different.
And what other crowd would they be going for? The 360 crowd...? And if you don't really care, why continue to argue it's a clone?

Lol, Sony.
"I think the notion of that controller is a non-trivial point that you’ve brought up, that control and that familiarity is like comfort food - from my perspective, we lead, we don’t follow. And as a brand, Nintendo’s got their thing, and we’re not trying to get the senior citizen group to get into gaming"
", but we’d never consider iterating off of existing competitive technology - because we think that’s a fad and that’s not the way we approach product development. It’s not the way we approach the marketing or the branding of PlayStation."
Sony on copying competitors.
Why not just admit that yes Sony copied the Wiimote and then move on. Its only dragging it out by denying it.
ADMIT IT.
Thats all it takes to put the matter at rest.
"But the Move is a copy of the Wiimote"
"Yeah we all know that... *rolls eyes*"
Is better than
"Yes"
"No"
"Yes"
"No"
*repeat 100x*
Tease.

Yeah, they look different in some ways. But do they play much differently? Not really. |
One uses a camera, the other one doesn't. One tracks "1:1", the other one doesn't. But hey, do the Dualshock 3 and Classic Controller Pro play much differently... Not really. Why didn't we see such a fuck load of complaints over that one?
You aren't only arguing because of me, as your first post in the thread was bringing up the Wii Remote / PS Move arguement. Here. And i've seen you going on about it in different threads too. If you really weren't bothered about it, i wouldn't see you posting so much about how it's a blatant copy of the Wii.

So... Why weren't Nintendo given the abuse and shit that Sony have had the past couple of weeks? Not particularly from you, but from anyone?
Red - You seem to like to talk about it on the forums and compare it to the Wii Remote. Thus it gives the impression that it bothers you, for whatever reason.

So... Because Sony have a lot of faith and big plans for the PS Move, it means it's aloud to be hated on. Okay.

I'm dragging it more than it needs to be? I can't wait for you to say this the next time PS Move / Wii Remote arguements come up!
Cya!

@Soriku .... they're positioning the Move like what? The thing is not even close to be out, nobody (relatively speaking) knows about it. Are you referring to the Kevin Butler trailer and a few comments here and there? if that's "positioning a product" to you, then let me tell you, you're seriously wrong.
