If any of you on this thread have Endless Ocean: Blue World/Adventures of the Deep, this jellyfish IS in the game. I pointed this specimen to my sister the other day while playing the game, and she really didn't believe that a jellyfish or any animal could be considered 'immortal.'

I don't want to die, I'll miss the first step on mars, the first alien contact, the first spaceship that can take us to a galaxy far far away, the breakthrough in human genome, cloning of humans, organ cloning, Final Fantasy XX, luxury planes, space hotels!

I am fairly sure if that happens laws will go into effect where no human being can live past the game of 150 or 200, at which point they have to be put down. It will stem from pure practicality.

These two combined scare me more than immortality.

It's basically purge the weaker ones, keep the strong.

The world is infested with humans.

We don't need them to live for longer and disturb even more the nature and degrade the planet.
