I've always gotten A's in school and professor rhymes with my last name nesser.
When you're young everyone calls you things that rhyme with your own name, so I became professor nesser. Then that later became profness, then just prof. The handle, however, was created in '00, so it has the year at the end, even though the name was created in the early nineties.

I got it from Romance of the Three Kingdoms. A general named Hua Xiong, who was able to slay 5 generals in a duel, before getting killed by Guan Yu.

90 = 1990, the year I was born.
