Brightspot.tv lets you watch ads, and they give you credit towards Gamefly, Napster, other services each month.  It cut my monthly Gamefly bill down to like 6 bucks...now it's shutting down, and I'll have to pay full price again!

Any other users out there?  If so, let me know of alternatives, as I'm always out to get the cheapest deals hehe.

Something else could take its place though, and they did say they're working on another iteration of Brighspot.tv...so who knows, maybe it'll come back before long.

You could get a 60-day journalist trial off Gamefly ... I got the note too. I could have told you they were going to be running into a deficit. They weren't making enough loot to keep everything going. I knew it was a matter of time ...

I kinda figured that would happen eventually...didn't really think it would happen so soon. I always wondered how a site like that could stay afloat. Oh well...it was only a benefit, losing it just returns me to normality. I think I'll keep Gamefly for a while, but I suppose I should rent more, now that it costs me more hehe.

Yeah, I've been getting screwed out of ads for the last two months and I had a good idea it was going under. Especially after I sent a CS message to ask why I wasn't getting any ads and they gave me a canned response that sounded just a little bit too PR for my taste.
