Personally I'd say that even Wolfenstein 3D is better than GoldenEye, as I HATE GoldenEye, but to each their own.

OT: I never played the Conduit and never will, but look at what Red Steel did. There's always hope.

There have been many speculations on the reasons why Wii gamers hate The Conduit 2 without any definite conclusions. After thinking about this issue for a long time I could eliminate a few reasons:

1. It can't be because the graphics are terrible, the game isn't even out yet.

2. It can't be because the game sold poorly, it's not even out yet.

3. It can't be because the first one was just Doom 64 with less guns and aliens, oh wait, yeah it was. Nevermind.

4. It can't be because the other first person shooters on Wii are better, because we don't know how it plays yet. But it if plays like the first one, then it will be crap.

So why are people attacking The Conduit 2 already when we haven't seen any screens, HVS hasn't made an official announcement yet, and on top of that, we don't even know what it's going to be about? Well, it's obviously because the first one sucked balls. And the Wii hardcore is not going to want to pick up The Conduit 2 after HVS has become the resident whore of the gaming industry porting their Wii projects to the HD systems.

It makes perfect sense.

Funny how metacritic is being used to 'prove' the first one sucked, but the same people complained when it was used to call other Wii games bad. At least don't look so blatantly hypocritical.

Unlike other Wii owners, I don't care if Metacritic is used to gauge if a game is good or not. What else am I supposed to do with EGM not being around to tell me what's awesome and what isn't anymore?
