That's been my point about this. They need games to set Move apart, not just do "same, but in HD" Wii games.



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

That's not a good sign for the move really, a good sign would be the system igniting with the larger market because it does something that they want that they can't get on the Wii, but that isn't there

If Move covers more of the ground that the Wii has essentially glossed over, then yes, I'd rather play motion control games on the PS3 than the Wii.

Show some solid FPS support that enhances the experience along with other core genres and you'll see a different niche of gamers adopting motion controls.

Of course I already have the console and agree with Reggie in his assessment that the vast majority of consumers (the same mass consumers that have been buying the Wii) are not going to pay $400 for a better looking version of the $200 Wii, which still won't have any of the primary titles that have made the platform so popular in the first place (Nintendo IPs).

But the Wii still skips over plenty of territory as far as the games go. Their focus has been on the family based mass consumer market. It's up to SCE to cover additional ground if they don't want Move to essentially become Wii 2.0 HD sans Nintendo IPs.

i think that this Wii-Move thing is simple , dude in the same way that Wii consumers didnt care about HD in 2006 they still no care , for example , me i kind of a broken guy , all i have is a 29'' CTR screen i dont care about HD and more think for a minute some of the best selling game on wii even make full use of motion controller like , New super mario bros , and Smash bros , what makes the Wii the best selling console ever is what behind him Nintendo , and the same goes for the DS its not the dual screens its what nintendo does with it, and if you come out and say "Yeah but the game cube also had nintendo and fail" Yeah he did have nintendo games , but had Yamauchi's philosophy and DS and Wii has Iwata's philosophy and read my words it make the all difference as it can do.
