The mall scene is when the game starting to pick up in my opinion. It was that house that made me want to fall asleep.

I have to say, the scene would be better if the voice actor would use emotions while screaming (at least in the german dub), but as it is now it just sounds... bad, I am lucky that the rest of the game was awesome.

I like Heavy Rain but that scene was atrociously acted. Ethan sounded so unconvincing while yelling for Jason.

I don't think there is anything funny about, loosing your child in the mall, and then the child gets hit buy a car, thats a fucked sense of humor

Please, again, it's possible to like a game and still have a nice laugh at it.  And unfortunately I can't find the thread where I finished it and praised it (only here where I praised it shortly after starting it) but again, you don't need to look for the troll in everything.

One more time, learn to laugh at things.  Just because someone has some fun with a goofy part of the game doesn't mean they're out to destroy it.

OT: Although you claimed to like the game twesterm, why is this like your 2nd or 3rd thread putting it down in some way?

I'm not really putting it down though.  It's an awkward part of the game and someone made a game based on that awkward part.  That's it.  There's really nothing wrong with having some fun like that.  It's like laughing at how simple Mario is or Dom yelling MAAARRIIIIIIIIIAA.

For the record, I liked the game and had fun with it despite the Quick Time Events that I normally despise.  Hell, this game even made me give God of War another go.  Since I survived one QTE game I figured I could try another.

It's sad that this thread has become a witch hunt for supposed fan boys rather than just having fun.  Whatever, I'm through.  I was in a pretty good mood this morning but if people want to be thick and look for the troll in everything have fun.

Not every damn thing has to be about the console war.
