Wow, that was pretty quick. This fill a rather large hole in Sony's Q2 Japanese lineup!

I enjoyed the first one (though admittedly I'm only about halfway through). Even they can improve the performance of this one (ie get the framerate to a consistent 30fps and enable v-sync) and improve things like the story, I think it could be a solid game all around.

I'm liking the sound of a faster paced battle system, and the changing of seasons sounds cool.

I think reviewers were overly harsh on the first, though. The game deserves mid-7 scores, imo. GameTrailers was right on the mark with its 7.6, but I can't help but feel the 4s from some sites were a rather unjustified.

I'd hope they wouldn't take so long to localize the game that it nearly becomes irrelevant, but at the same time, releasing both in the same year seems highly unlikely.

I'm guessing Holiday 2011.  Maybe early 2011 if Level 5 releases a game they don't need to spend a year fixing this time.  =/

I agree the first WKC wasnt as bad as the reviewers make it out to be, I found quite a few noticable flaws from the game that definitly dragged down the experience (e.g the poor cut scenes) but the game is still solid 7.3/10 for me.

I hope they remove online. I think it held the single player option back. Focus on Single player make it look like the TGS 06 trailer and we'll be good.

the first info for WKC 2 was for the online (6 players instead of 4 or something like that).

It would be stupide for Level 5 to delete the online considering the amount of time they spent on it.

Plenty of quests, georama, avatar creation etc...

I just fear the failure in sales for WKC 2, since we have almost no infos and so no hype for. Summer release is pretty short to build hype for it.

yes!! do you think they will give it a wetern release tho?? I hope people keep on buying WKC!! Also I am hoping for a faster localisation this time!!!
