Isn't it the same in RE4 Wii? Cause i got to play that for like 10 minutes and liked it. |
Probably, I don't have a Wii.
I hoped for a better RE5 Move implementation but Capcom simply replaced the "aiming with right analog stick" part with Move.

That's fine, that's what I was looking for. Aiming with the right analog stick when you are slow moving and there is a big black man with a sack on his head charging at you with a chainsaw sucks.

I went to Walmart this morning and picked up a move starter pack. It's been a pleasant evening, the family likes it.
My brother spent a lot of time in Sports Champions, and I liked pretty much everything that I saw/played. It's a keeper :)
Now I don't have a reason to keep my wii, it's going on ebay.
SO, how about online features?
As most people, I don't really want to buy 2x dualshock and 2x move control's, so how about if I wanna play tennis/golf online?
Take my love, take my land..
I should've preordered. Every store in my area only has the bundle left and I already have the PS Eye. Sucks for me.....

I just found an interesting article that pretty much explains how move knows where it is, very interesting read for those who don't know much about the technology and help them understand and appeciate move more.

So I just said screw it and bought the starter pack today even though I already own the PS Eye (gave it to my brother) since the controller by itslef was sold out everywhere. So far, I love this thing. Been playing the demos and Sports Champions and I think I'm going to buy my first ever PGA Tour game.

I too finally got my hands on the two Move controllers (plus Sports Champions) that I pre-ordered. It took 10 days to arrive, and I got a bit worried at one time, but now that they are here, it's all ok :).
So here are my notable observations about the Move so far:
- the four face buttons are small, true, but they are also easily pressed and have good tactile feedback, no problem finding the one you need, after a bit of getting used to it.
- calibration: Sports Champions asks you to point the contoller at the camera and press Trigger and Move buttons together, but if you do that, the reticule in the menus will be below (in m case, as the camera sits on top of my tv) where you point it. I pointed the controller at the center of my screen when calibrating after and the pointer was more in line with the controller.
- Beach Volley: played it with my girlfriend (who played volley ball and beach volley ball at a semi professional level). I was not sure what to expect (feared that she'll have it) but we both loved it. It turns out that apart from direct control over the placement of your character, you can pretty much do everything else: jump serve, serve strength and direction control (she can serve flat and strong like in RL, I can't ... like in RL), spike direction and block direction control, and dive after the ball. It's not apparent at first, but it seams the game has decent depth. Nice.
- I struggled with archery a bit, meaning that enough times I ended up pointing an imaginary shot 2 meter above the TV to hit something on screen. (Just like I did in Wii Sport Resort archery) Other times the alignment between imaginary and on screen was good. It might be something one can learn. Other than that, i ruled in archery.
- Gladiator Dues has weapon parry, which is all you need in a sword fighting game, but I didn't have a chance to hone my parry skills since i was too busy obliterating the CPU's ass on bronze level.
- Disk golf and Table tennis were harder than they looked but nice, and the first bocce game was boring cause the CPU sucked.
Overall: YAY :))
Edit: Oh and btw, HUGE lag...from my TV. I kinda expected that :(. Not a problem in Sports Champions (I refuse to call any game SC but Star Craft :P), but it might be a big problem in shooters...we'll see.
