Forums - Sony - PS home has 12 million users...

i have 3 account uk usa and jap, but only my uk account i log onto home.

all the home spaces are bristling with users now, the audi space is pretty good, and finally they have added background sound in the resident evil space.

i think a lot of users use home now.

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

I have 4 accounts...

But this surely means 12 million have visited Home. If they are saying 12 million very regularly use Home then I dont believe them.

It isnt a BETA in the true sense, but it is an evolving... er... thing. It just isnt or rather hasnt evolved in the way I am at all interested in.

Article says 12 million have visited home... "twice"

I think the majority tried it, got disconnected and then logged back in then logged off, said screw this waste of HDD space then never went back :)

sounds logical to me xD but i really hope they get money out of this or its really a waste of time.

How many active users does Home even have?

PSN ID: KingFate_

Dont you have to re-install all kinds of spaces with every new account? So i dont see the need to have 4 accounts in Home tbh. Yeah, 3 PSN accounts for all major regions i get, but for home? Hell no, that has to be a lie.

I never understood why people have anymore than 3 online gaming accounts ...

1 for UK.....my main one.

1 for Japan cus the GT5:prologue demo came out "exclusively" for that region back in 2007

1 For USA cus they used to get demo's WAY earlier than us

1 For Honk Kong as they got the exclusive LAIR Demo

Thats 4

but i dont think u opened ps home on all of them? cuz it only counts if u logged into ps home with each one i guess

It is terrible. The games are meh, the people are annoying, the entire micro-transaction system is such a rip-off; I can't believe anyone wastes their money in there.

I made an avatar that was purposefully an 'ugly' character and it was funny how everyone acted like high school kids and only chatted with the 'hot' characters, even though I'm positive the greater majority of people in real life were turds.

People really spend hard earned cash on virtual furniture and costumes? I mean wow, how wasteful. I blow money all the time, but its on fast food and games themselves. Not Storm Trooper costumes and a fake furniture.

Its funny how the human nature works xD

LOL

anywho Home has gone from crappy to rather good at the moment, it's faster too :) It's definately growing

I think the big reason is every space it seem's is getting game's that you can play. Like

http://www.sodiumone.com/

this is one of the best spaces in Home that alone is one of the reason's why i go, not to mention talking to other gamer's but that game is pretty d@mn cool .

now with home getting more streamlined with's it interface it's gettng even better.

ITS A BETA that constantly improves every month or so, just last week it got a HUGE upgrade

Gmail was "in beta" for like 4 years or something so that doesn't mean much.  Since it's available for free with no limitations I'd say calling it a beta is just arguing semantics.  If people have tried it and not liked it how many times can you expect them to check back in to see what's changed?  If the core concept doesn't appeal to the person it's unlikely that a shinier, faster loading home would make any sort of difference.

it isn't just a shinier more fast loading home though
