Can we start calling all PS3 fanboys morons for blaming the 360 on FFXIII sucking?!?! :)

Can we start calling all PS3 fanboys morons for blaming the 360 on FFXIII sucking?!?! :)

The game is plenty pretty on both systems, and blaming the 360 for the gameplay choices? That is absurd.
To the writer of these article. Don't mark me as a troll or anything else all ppl are saying now is that because of the 360 incapability to the blueray there was content deleted off the original Japanese version. I don't think ps3 users care about the graphics on 360 they just get pissed off because they are buying an incomplete game because of it
Who thought that the game design or graphics or w/e was altered by the 360? Article is a waste of time.
It would have been better to speculate over why 40 hours of gameplay was removed.

You don't sound like a troll but I'm not sure you read the article entirely. Square Enix addressed the issues of why things were taken out of the game and they had nothing to do with the 360 version. Even on 2 of the 3 discs there was 1GB of space a piece that wasn't used and when you take into consideration how much they actually fit onto those 3 discs, and the fact that mostly what was "missing" was included in Lost Odyssey (towns, more exploration, etc..) on 4 discs, 1 more disc would not be a stretch and they could have added more of what supposedly made the game "incomplete."

This is so true that i wonder if this journalist/opinionist is more ignorant or fanboyst. Moreover he doesn't even consider what really those "idiots" are addressing: development delays and cut out contents. He is the real idiot (or the fanboyst). |
Have you ever created anything in your life? Or do you just whine about things other people create?
There is this thing called editing. You know, like when you DON'T USE EVERYTHING YOU COME UP WITH. Things are left on the cuttingroom floor all the time and if you think that things would have been different if the 360 wasn't involved then you really need to leave your basement more often. All SE employees have said is that content was left out of the final product. There has never, ever been a time when content was not left out of a final product. Ever.
By the way, good job trying to blame Microsoft for the delay. As if Square Enix never delays anything.

They can't even put out their books on time. Get a grip.
@BWilly
Yeah, but the fact is that Lost Odyssey was funded and published by Microsoft, FFXIII is not. One more dvd is an added cost (more royalties to Microsoft and more production cost) that dwindles profits and gives no benefits to SE. Besides their reputation, of course.

If fanboys would do the impossible and STOP using games as ammo in their fanboy wars MAYBE we wouldn't get nonsense like the complaints. Well, I did say it is impossible for a reason.
I wonder if these same fanboys will now doom Final Fantasy as a franchise.

When I saw the article is written by Jim Sterling. I stopped reading. He's there to initiate flame wars and lure fanboys to Destructoid for visitor increase.

I didn't say that SE left out contents because of the xbox360, I said that people complain about that while this article is all about gameplay and graphics. So who wrote that article is plain silly or just a flamer. Moreover why a company, that has some financial problem (like many others these days), should lessen its profits by adding one more dvd (== more royalties to microsoft and production costs)?
Your point could in fact explain why SE should have reduced the contents.

Pretty much this, anything by Jim 'I try to hard' Sterling I usually avoid, though on this point he's right, but then again only an idiot wouldn't realise this.
