Forums - Sony - Naughty Dog: No Jak & Daxter PS3 Would be a “Shame”

i really don't want another Uncharted even if the Uncharted series is great it will be "more of the same" if they release them too early like that.
they need some time.

No, it must be made by Naughty Dog. If Jak goes the way of Spyro, I will be cery, very angry.

Spyro was my favourite platform, I don't want see Jack become ruined.

I refuse to purchase a console Jak that's not from Naughty Dog.

4 ≈ One

I'll take Uncharted over Jak any day, platformers just aren't fun anymore.

MY HYPE LIST: 1) Gran Turismo 5; 2) Civilization V; 3) Starcraft II; 4) The Last Guardian; 5) Metal Gear Solid: Rising

Jak and Daxter is a piece of shit now.

Seriously, the VERY first one was the best one. I couldn't play the second one, too horrible.

Third one's no different.

Unless it's like The Precursor Legacy, it'll be terrible.

this^. The second one was insanely difficult and i never played the third.

Really? I thought Jak 2 was pretty easy, and I suck at games. Anyone who thinks Jak 2 was all that hard sucks at games. Also, Jak 3 was VERY noob friendly.

Please Naughty Dog, make Jak 4 first and then Uncharted 3. If you have to make Uncharted 3 first, at least let Ready at Dawn make Jak 4!

I want a NEW IP from them. You should have posted the complete interview, it was a real good one.

"We also, at the end of Uncharted 1 and the end of Uncharted 2, we've taken all of our source code and posted it on the internal network for all of Sony's first party developers, so they can pick through it and find whatever they might find useful."

I specifically like this answer from him. I remember CGI was talking about how 1st party developers at SONY share ideas and resources to improve one another and this is a real good example of it.

No 2 was pretty hard. Its one of the hardest games that i have ever played.

I finished the three games on the ps2, I would love to see this series on the ps3! common ND!

Ever since I got a PS3, I've wanted a Jak 4 on PS3. The constant teases and hints are killing me.

My favourite, to go against the grain, was Jak 2. TPL was fantastic, but Jak 2 took things in such a radical new direction - so much so that when I played other games' sequels, I was bitterly disappointed in the lack of changes. I didn't realise that it wasn't the norm! (This was still early in my gaming life). From the city, the graphics, the clipscenes, the varied environments and the killer platforming mixed with gunplay, Jak 2 had it all. And it was long, too. It took me weeks (unlike Jak 3, which was piss easy and took me about 2 days, and everything was in the desert).
