Forums - Sony - GT5, Split/Second and ModNation Racers supporting Move?

http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=239021

Sony's official US PlayStation Move site has revealed that both Gran Turismo 5 and Disney's Split/Second will work with the motion sensing device.

Other 'featured' titles listed alongside the peripheral include ModNation Racers and SOCOM 4 - which Sony said would be compatible with Move at GDC last week.

The inclusion of three 'core' racing games in the list suggests PlayStation Move will be able to be used as a steering wheel - a function Nintendo's Wii Remote also serves.

Nintendo this week said it was 'flattered' by the similarities between the two devices.

Unlike GT5, Disney's Split/Second is a full arcade racer - complete with giant, destructible set pieces.

I like that Move can be used in Split/Second, maybe that will be the first 3rd party game released with support for it (unless the support is already in RE5:GE). It also seems a good match for MNR, but I wonder how well it will be recieved for GT5. Providing all this is true of course, though I doubt Sony would put it up on their website if it wasn't.

i dont see myself playing gran turismo 5 with move:p hopefully this will not lead to another delay:p

What we really know is that Ps Eye will be use for headtracking in GT5.

I think that would be weird hold the Move horizontally, maybe works for arcade games but not for GranTurismo. Maybe they will make a Wheel with slot for Move, to be able to rotate 900-degrees and have Force Feedback...

Sony should at least update the XMB to recognize Move...or better: Hand Gestures

That has already been done. Kotaku saw it at GDC.

sounds good the more games with move ssupoort the better. modnation racers sounds like a gd games for the move.

ModNation Racers will be good for Move.

I know GT5 will have head tracking with the PS Eye, don't know how it could do stuff with Move though...

Split/Second, not seen enough of it.

Isn't Split/Second out in May?

Yes, but if the development kits are out now, there's no reason why it can't support Move.

Course, so it'll be patched at a later date?
