It might be a good game, but don't take Edges word for it. Edge reviews are pathetic nowadays, I recall 'Lets tap' got an 8 too!

edge is kinda to harsh like they look for things and when they get something else they take points off.
Infinite Space? So is this like Endless Ocean, but in outer space?

My impressions from the first couple of hours:
A lot of taps are needed to do things, the interface could have been much more streamlined.
No quest log/journal makes it hard to remember what your mean't to do, especially if you play in short bursts.
Its hard to know if you are outclassed pre-battle and should run rather than fight a futile battle.
These are all negative points but overall Im finding the game tremendous fun despite the faults.
8.5/10 so far.

god i have to get back to handheld gaming, i mean thats what my main gaming system used to be
I read the RPGFan review a while back and that reviewer seemed to think very highly of this game. Scores all around have been pretty high but there are some questionable reviews about. I didn't want to be the guy who brings it up, but IGN's review in particular struck me as odd. The review does not suit the score at all, in fact the review itself is pretty damn poor, up until the final few paragraphs he just complained at the things he hated about the game. The review sounded like it'd get a score of 4 or 5 but it ended up with a 7... the only things that were really praised were the story and sound, the latter of which got a 7.5 despite having a "suitably epic soundtrack".

I haven't read EDGE's review for the game but something tells me it won't be nearly as bad as IGN's. Hell even Gamespot gave the game a 6.5, i haven't read it yet but i bet even their review is far better than IGN's.
