| Games4Fun said: TMNT NES Me and my brother were all excited for this one. Like most young boys at that time we loved us some Turtle Power. My mother even paid double ticket price so we could all see the movie. Anyways, we pop this game in and well it sucked to us badly. But, TMNT the Arcade Game made up for it. As we could kill stuff with each other over and over =0 |
i got this when i was a kid too right after it came out. I had fun with it, actually beat it back then. It really wasn't a bad game for its time, was too hard for really young kids though. Most of the stuff people complain about was quite common in that time.
currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

I did not get far in it. I disliked it a lot. Did you use the Game Genie to beat it or did you just play threw it like a man?

I'd like to add another game before I forget:
Road Fighter for the NES. Absolutely terrible. Technically my sister bought it, but it was a bad purchase. Money was limited and we could choose between Road Fighter and Faxanadu. And my sister, the car fan, of course chose the bad one. :/ Meh.

Thanks. Living in Japan helps a lot when you can (sometimes) find old hardware for some small change.
Need something off Play-Asia? http://www.play-asia.com/
Most recently, Halo ODST, told myself not to buy it, but did when it was on sale at Target for $40. Complete waste of money. I don't even like Halo.
Off topic, dang manuel, you have quite a collection of systems, I'm jealous.
Prototype- still my biggest regret for purchasing this entire generation. Felt quite cheated getting that game.
Gears of War- was actually the first 360 game I bought, around when it came out and played on my bro's 360. Was my first slap in the face that all the good graphics in the world couldn't save this game being worth $60. Eventually bought it again (traded it in for a Wii game haha) for 1/6 of the price. Much better deal imo.
Street Fighter IV (360)- not that it was a bad game, but was the first and last time I was going to buy a fighter like that on the 360. Just couldn't play it with the 360 controller
Excite Truck- one of the 5-6 launch Wii titles I bought, and easily the most disappointing and I had bought Red Steel. Controls didn't work and never have worked for the title. Spent hours trying to play it, but never could.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare: Reflex- bought this the first day it came out, because I'm relatively fond of Wii FPS. However, this was the worst one I had played since the launch FPS games. Controls, I simply could not get to work in the title, and I'm a pro with Wii FPS controls. I spent an entire 2 hours straight playing with the control settings, trying to figure some combo that would make it work but never could. Was highly disappointed, because World at War controls were spectacular.
PS3- now this isn't to troll but simple explanation. I bought it 2 months before it dropped in price $100 and before I would have got 40 gb more hardware space for a cheaper price. Felt ripped haha.

like a man i guess, i mean back then i had a handful a games that i had to play over a very long time. I just played it so many times. You can beat most games if you play long enough.

Yea, I think that is why I was better at games when I was younger. I still try to beat all my games. Now I can buy a lot more. But honestly I only probably beat about 80percent of my game purchases. I tend to get bored toward the end or I get stuck and just get upset and stop. When I was younger I would get upset play a different game then go sigh Lets try again.

1. Burnout Paradise (oh I absolutly despise that game and it's beyond me how it could get more than 1/10 anywhere)
2. No More Heroes (I bought it since it was one of the highest rated Wii games, I couldn't play it for more than 30 minutes, ultra boring, ugly and hard to controll)
3. Super Smash Bros. Brawl (This game is only fun, when you have someone else playing with you, singleplayer is just big fat meh and my brother doesn't want to play it, since it looks so childish (he was 16 at the time))
4. Gears of War (this has to do mainly with the fact it's the "superior" PC port, which was flawed by microsoft fucking DRM which didn't work half of the time and required you to pay for Xbox live gold membership, the game itself wasn't bad, but wasn't great either)
5. Nintendo Wii (the only time I play it, is when new Nintendo game comes out and by this I mean either Super Mario 3D series, Metroid or Zelda, the rest of Wii's offering is just meh - with few exceptions, so I basicaly have 3 games for the system and that's not justifying the purchase).
MY HYPE LIST: 1) Gran Turismo 5; 2) Civilization V; 3) Starcraft II; 4) The Last Guardian; 5) Metal Gear Solid: Rising
Gears of War 2 (Finished the campaign once. Cant bring myself to do it again)
Halo ODST (Couldnt even bother to finish more than a few levels of the campaign.)
Crysis (Boring game)
Lost Oddessey (Hate JRPG's but still decided to buy it anyways...)
All of these are games that i thought would be great but just didnt cut it for me.
Long Live SHIO!
