Forums - Nintendo - Reggie confident about Nintendo's second half of 2010

I seriously think F-Zero is going to skip this generation. I really don't see where it would find its appeal

Since it's related to this article (which is about the GTTV show from last night), i'll add this

Reggie heavily hinted at the Super Guide being in Galaxy 2.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

There's another Reggie interview on IGN, where Matt gets pwned a number of times.

http://wii.ign.com/articles/107/1077356p1.html

"IGN: I know you're probably sick of Apple questions, but here we go. The company is positioning its hardware more and more as gaming devices -- iPod Touch, iPhone, and now iPad, which became available for pre-order today.

Reggie Fils-Aime: What are you going to do with your iPad?

IGN: Honestly, I don't know yet, but I'm buying one.

[Reggie laughs] "

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

Tread carefully!

I must clarify. I personally would like to see another F-Zero, i'd like to see what they could do with Wii's capabilities given how good and smooth GX was, and i would like to give it a shot with the Wheel

Lack of appeal comes from a business perspective. I can't imagine that F-Zero is cheap to make, and it would be a hard sell outside hardcore F-Zero fans, since Wii already has its mainstream racer

Then there's the question of development capacity, that they don't have a team they can assign to it.

I wonder why can't he admit zelda wii is going for q4 2010, he is "confident", what hint else??

^Or maybe they're letting on they have more than they have, lol. Like in 2008.

Well, i hope so. Till now, the only game ill buy from the second half of 2010 is Zelda. And it is till hollyday season.

MY ZELDA COLLECTION

Zelda, Xenoblade & Kirby, OH MAI!

I hope 2010 has:

1st Half:
Endless Ocean Blue World
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Sin and Punishment Star Successor
Metroid Other M

2nd Half:
Vitality Sensor Game
Poke Park Wii
Pikmin 3
Zelda Wii(2)

8 games for 2010 isn't all that much plus out of the 8 I named I will probably
only buy 5 of them.

Think about it, they could do like a steering wheel bundle (ala Mario Kart) and get people on board again. F-Zero's one of those franchises man, just never gets old. Pity, you'll probably end up right, there may not be a market nor desire for it. But it couldn't hurt to try right?

if the game doesnt make money then it would hurt to try. As Mr Khan said its difficult to get f zeros made anyway since there isnt a specific team for the franchise unlike  pikmin, Kirby and fire emblem
