DS seems to be a monster in Europe. It's trouncing it's American numbers which is pretty shocking to me.

America is actually the weakest market for the DS. It's a monster in Japan and EU.

Well it's not so surprising really, the same thing happened last year! Notice how the numbers keep rising!

Yup, last year the DS seems to have sold 2 million during the month of December in others alone! I'm estimating the DS will hit the 60 million mark by years end easily. Probably somewhere between 60 and 62 million at years end.

Wow, didn't know the numbers last year were actually so high, I thought it topped out at around 515.000, 605.000 pieces of harware in one region in one week alone is crazy!

Talk about massive numbers, its trouncing the PSP in Europe as well as everything else. Nintendo are advertising heavily in the UK at the moment with loads of celebs in Nintendo Ds adverts, its certainly working....

i thinks its amazing that you can pin down the exact time when the ds transformed from a normal competitor to a giant unstoppable monster.
