Played it for a couple of hours. I'm quite liking it so far. The game looks amazing and the controls are flawless.

If you have any questions about the game, don't be afraid to ask! From what I've played so far I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who was hyped for the first Red Steel, but thinks it failed to deliver.

Gametrailers said that the enemy AI is not very bright, and that it's easy to perform sword combos because of their lack of responsiveness. What do you think about that now that you've played it?

I have no problems with the enemy AI. They're not bright, but considering the gameplay, they don't need to be.

See it more as a brawler like MadWorld or Devil May Cry than a shooter. These guys just walk around, some carrying swords, some carrying guns. They do become tougher when you advance (they begin to block attacks, dodge) but they are still just walking around and looking for a fight. They don't go hiding behind crates or work together in teams or something.

Definitely. The game is much better than the first Red Steel. The controls are MUCH better, the visuals MUCH better, and it just plays much more smoothly.

The only thing lacking is a multiplayer component sadly...

Quite good. It's not a huge step up from Wii Sports Resort. You're actually not really noticing you are playing with the Wii Motion+, but that's also a good thing, as it plays very naturally. I have done over a 100 moves and not once has the game misunderstood my input.

How is the difficulty?

I've seen some gameplay and the enemies looks like they just run towards you.

I play on medium and died a few times, but it's not that difficult so far. I'm still relatively at the beginning though. The enemies not always just run towards you, there are also enemies with guns who keep their distance and shoot at you.

There is also a hard mode you can select from the beginning, I assume it'll be pretty challenging.

I'm going to bed now, but will answer any more questions tomorrow!

One thing I hated about Madworld was that the first levels were very easy because of the AI. Do you have more difficulties to begin? Or just easy and normal?

EDIT:  Nevermind, you just answered in your last post, good news thanks!

Hm this game might replace me buying Monster Hunter 3. Finally a full game with great motion controls as the way to play it.

Wow lucky you!

Any idea how big the game is, in terms of game world, and playtime? I know you're not that far in yet, but perhaps some indication? I'm just hoping it's not something that's over in 6 or 7 hours, like so many of today's games... That's the only thing that worries me about it.
