I cant help thinking that to move your arm takes loinger than to move your finger...

so if some players are using sixaxis they will murder those using move.

I'm staggered you think using this is better than using sixaxis in a multiplayer FPS.

You are not moving your whole arm, you are twisting your wrist. It's in general very similar movement to controling a PC mouse. Now have you ever tryied to compete with analog controller to PC mouse when it comes to shooters?

Go play some PC game that enables console controller (Xbox one is for PC I believe) and use it in multiplayer against mouse users. You'll get your ass handed to you in the worst possible manner. I've been playing competetive multiplayer shooters on PC for decade now, I've been to progaming event and played in european clanbase tournament's on the highest level. Mouse + keyboard > Motion Controler as "pointer" >>> Analog stick.

kowenicki was so wrong thanks for backing me up, and I totally agree, you do get owned if you try and use a controller on a PC xD

I agree on the mouse v controller.

but the analogy is wrong imo.  this isnt as precise as mouse and nowhere near as quick.

That's why I said:

Mouse + keyboard > Motion Controler as "pointer" >>> Analog stick

It is not as precise nor as quick, but it's still step up from analog stick. Maybe minor, but still better.

yeah.. becuase they are using a mouse... you'd also get owned if you used this against a mouse.

yes but I was not talking about using a mouse, again valid argument and using a mouse is not better than motion control, not to me as you are limited to using a mouse on a flat surface, at least i will have the freedom around my room with my ps move.

Edit: lolz all these names are catching up with me (gem, then arc, and move)

I don't know about you guys, but I approve of this game.

It clearly needs some polishing but is shaping up to be a good game.
Plus, the motion controls can make it a must have if properly implemented.

Wouldn't using this controller over the sixaxis/360 controller be more precise, more in line with the mouse and keyboard combo? Yeah thats why...

Besides its no fun playing games standing up.

hahahah, that's what I was thinking. The cover system does look similar to the one used in the Uncharted series, but I'm pretty sure that they just polished it up to Uncharted levels. I'm definitely loving this whole we-gotta-beat-that-game complex that developers now have. In the end, Gamers are the winners :)

Ditto, except when it turns into a "we have this feature that this game doesn't have, omg we're the best" fest (ala Turn 10 with Forza 3 vs GT5).

I am so pumped for this game.

You're looking at it completely the wrong way. You're looking at it from an efficiency point of view, not from just a "fun" point of view. Sure, twitching your thumb would be quicker than aiming the WiiMote/PSMove (assuming you aren't already aiming at the screen, which you should be doing already anyway, so PSMove could be just as quick/quicker). For a lot of people, I would expect the idea of aiming a "gun" (get a setup like the WiiMote/plastic gun) at the screen to be a lot more fun than having your thumbs down by your lap twitching to aim.

As a result, I don't see PSMove people getting murdered by Sixaxis players, seeing as you should already be aiming at the screen. It isn't like people are going to have their hands in their pockets until they see someone. Do people currently aim at the ground in BFBC2 or MW2 until they see someone? No, they are aiming, ready to react.

As for your last point, gaming isn't about being better than people, it is about having fun. There are plenty of people who still play games offline who would love the idea of playing using motion control.

whats the point of motion control on this game again? he sits there utterly motionless....

It's a motion controller, he moved the controller to create a response in the game. Sounds like a good use of motion control to me. What more do you want?
