what do you mean by new? It adds almost a new dimension of control, and innovation, beyond that of the wii mote with wii motion plus.

What they are going to screw themselves with is that everyone will think its a wii rip off, people tend not to be informed about these things.

Lol, after the actual motion controller and the Nunchuk clone, they even have an actual carbon copy of Wii's wriststrap. XD Man this is golden.

I have this very sick feeling that both the PS3 and 360 motion controllers will mean a whole new wave of shovelware party games on both consoles...

after seeing the ps move fighting game and socom, i am sooooo sold! did you see how the ps eye picked up the guy ducking and leaning? and the graphics for a alpha build game were amazing.

socom 3rd person over the shoulder shooter with ps move compatibility is a win! the game looked ace!

They did rip the wii off, but they improved it to the point where it can rival a mouse for precision 

I wanted to see it say in more of a hack and slash type game I guess. GOW3 would have been great for this. swinging your arms around thrusting weapons into your enemies etc etc. It would be very High Profile and would show they are very serious for the market they tend to go for. We can easily expect party type games for it. We can all expect shooters to use it. I would not expect somethign like GOd of War to have used it. I just want any company to prove that it can be done and done very well. IT was the main reason I bought a Wii afterall not just for the party and the off and on waggling.

If it does, it's a whole new market for Sony to conquer. It's properly shaped for girls.
