You'll be happy with your choice if your TV is 1080p. The CGI in the PS3 version is absolutely stunning.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

I got the 360 version BTW, so they had 1 copy left. I wanted the PS3 version after seeing the game run at my friends house earlier that day. But I am so paranoid of turning my 60 gig on. Don't want YLOD, I baby it. I should just sell it on ebay and get a slim.

What region of the US are you from? Because you are about the 5th person I've heard from so far that has said in the US the 360 version was selling more. I'm really anxious to see the March NPD now to see the official breakdown of this game.

I hope the other 4 stories aren't like this one, because this story tells you nothing about which one sold more unless you know the initial shipments of both, I wouldn't hang your hat on such things when VGC is showing a markedly different outcome.

...

wasnt there a thread on n4g which said the ps3 version has outsold the 360 one in america 3 to 1 :S

what a stupid post by me lol i just went back to n4g and clicked the link and guess what? it was a vgchartz link lol

Great to hear. From what I've heard it's the better version anyway. Plus, no 'having to switch discs' for you!

I know, and I normally never make an issue of arguing over VGC sales data.  I'll just hold out and see if NPD or other sources are in line as well.  And I know as well as anyone that adjustments can always come.  Either way it won't bother me, just so far for the US it seems like the 360 version has been more popular or at the very least, more equally popular than the 65/35 split.

here is the link http://news.vgchartz.com/news.php?id=7369&mp=1 about the preliminary sales data in case anyone wants to check it out :)

I'm in Minneapolis, and I suspect the stores have been ordering more PS3 software, and the 360 is slightly more popular than they expected. I also went to Target because the wife works there so I get 10% off, so I basically paid $44 for it!

DAMN YOU!!!!

The T-Wolves are about to lose so I'm about to play FF13 now. If you have a 1080p TV you'll be happy that you got the PS3 version, plus there's no install and loading is almost non-existant.
