Why would there be a Canadian chart? I like the idea of UK chart, though.

Honestly, I'm a little bummed that Mario Galaxy is not posting unreal sales numbers. Maybe my expectations were out of line, but I think it will be terribly sad if the number one Mario game on the Wii ends up being Mario Cart, or infinitely worse, Mario Party.

And I agree... bring on the Canadian sales charts.

I like to point out that the uk is one of the only countries that wont sell you a game in advance.

Like SM said I got my copy of smg on wednesday with a store I always buy my games from ( as they sell them mostly on tuesday and mostly even make sure you recieve your copy the same day they sell em)

 Not really, wasn't there that whole thing about asda selling Halo 3 early, and pes was leaked early this year

 True, And did they not recieve a fine of say 5000 quid a unit for doing it?

 

Trust me a uk friend from me tries to recieve games before retail and the fastest he can get is midnight (thursday to friday) at blockbuster because he knowns the store owner.

well if Mario sold 250k in japan 1st week, 300k in europe this week (out on the 16th, pal region, so really 3 days only) and 600k in US (ioi guessing), that's still 1.2 M worldwide first week of sale, without being black friday (US) or Christmas (WW) or january (weird japanese). still on track to be immensely successful.

Guess its a holiday title anyway, and will keep selling throughout the year.
