I see that 20 times a day on the GT forums in ps3 section. They have votes and all rate their games a 10

THen they go to the 360 section post all those games and say what does 360 have next year? Nothing ps3 rules!

I love all the FF games but I just cant stand fanboy talking about domination and crap like, then never admit every delay is a serious problem for the ps3 brand. This time last year they were all trash talking other system with their exclusive content and be all and end those exclusive content will be, then when it released or delayed, they twisted it like they never say those words, and never expected that game to be system seller or they never expect it to come out at XX/XX/XX date. Why cant they just admit they are wrong???

BTW, Fucking 7hr download for FFXI update. the pain of waitting @^%$#^#^#$%$# still 4hr 40mins left MY FUCKING GOD!!!!

FFXI updates are painful with a new install, your best bet is to just start it when you go to bed, on your way to work, or something like that.

Isnt the White Engine used for both the 360 and PS3? Also, while FFXIII may not come out in 2008, that still leaves GT5 and MGS4 right? As far as proven titles go, thats still bigger than anything MSFT has, past or future. So as far it being over, lol, thats just idiotic.

So bad news for both consoles, worse news for the PS3, but the PS3 still has the stronger lineup next year regardless.

 

Also, isnt this just speculation? It seems like since they said there are issues, they assume that it has to be pushed back to 2010. No one even knows the extent of the issue or anything.  

I just have to wait 2 years before I buy a PS3.

The PS3 has a stronger line up for next year because no other console maker is focusing much on next year yet. Only sony/PS3 is because today is pretty bleak(let's all be honest..) Hopefully MGS4 and GT5 will be out they'll push the system a bit(and I don't want my purchase to be useless you know?) though there's still no firm date on either that I know of leaving them well open to push backs etc. As far as FF13 I never expected in in 2008 anyway. Maybe Japan has a shot, though I expected them to see it at the end of 2008(seems reasonable even now) and that means America will see it some time mid 2009 and Europe/Others around Christmas 2009.

Why is this thread still going on? This is a RUMOR not fact. Let's discuss this when SE tells us that the game has been delayed.

I thought the game had already been delayed till 2009. Or late 2008.

Either way... eh, hopefully this will open up the door for a developer who still makes good RPGs.

Edit: oops misread... late 2009.  Eh if true it's really not a big loss to the PS3.  It *may* hurt sales, but it's not like FF games have been at the top of their game lately... and the people who still like Final Fantasy games will buy the PS3 anyway.

I could argue otherwise if KZ 2 is also pushed back, that or any other major title is pushed back.

360 has a great lineup next year
