GS: Why did the idea of having motion controls come about now? What pushed you to head in this direction?

And give an answer other than "The Wii... duh" while maintaining a straight face.

Anyways, the arc sure does look fantastic in what it can do.

Tommorow is going to be a major day, if they do indeed unviel the PSMC in its true form. From that interview, and gif, I like what I see. It is going to come down to two things to me. Does the nunchuck have a sphere, and how good is the software. If both controllers are capable of the same degree of motion, then this will be a major advancement in Motion sensitive gaming. If it is a Wii clone with more accurate tracking, then I will be very sad. Lastly, it is the software.

Except that Nintendo's games are not engaging for hardcore fans...
