Her name is Jessica Martin, apparently a little-known mostly-local Seattle actress, and they auditioned quite a few people to find her.

Read the whole interview linked, though. There is a rather disturbing hint from Bihldorff that even though they haven't found anything "too shocking," (in regards to the old joke about Team Ninja making Sexy Samus), but that there is a balance between the samus we know, and "a little sexiness"

Please, please, please don't succumb to that temptation, Sakamoto...

You do realize the "sexiness" of Samus has been around since the very first game in the series? What harm is a little sexiness now when she was running around half naked in the first game.

I'm sure she'll doo fine, but I was getting quite use to the voice of Samus in Brawl. And I kind of thought it fit her just right. Now they're going to change it again....arg.
