Forums - PC - Assassin's Creed 2 Cracked in less than 24 hours.

Its nice to see that it was cracked so quick and hope this is the last time they try this kind of drm. But sadly i think this is to kill the used game market and has nothing to do with piracy.

24 hours, I dont think Jack could have done it any faster, maybe Ubisoft could learn a lesson or two from Sony. I guess we could have a poll if the PS3 will ever be cracked.

You obviously have memory problems. Seriously though the only person who claims to have done it is that Geohat guy or something like that.

Here's 2 interesting conversations about DRM, each one slightly biased in different directions:

I kinda agree with some of the points in each camp :)

Do you want non multiplayer games that you have to have an good internet connection to play? Or games that you can't trade in because the disc is locked to one account. What happens in a few years when ubisoft puts a end to the servers for the game? Now you can still buy the game, apply the crack and not have anything to do with ubisoft servers or their shitty drm. But really i hope everyone boycotts the game because of the drm. The only sad thing about that is ubisoft will claim the game didn't sell because of piracy, not because of a boycott.
