A poll like this might already exist, but if it does, I'm sure as hell not aware of it.

Anyhow, as the title asks, which  Nintendo franchise has the best music overall?

As you can expect, I'm gonna say Zelda, because... Oh wait, I don't need a reason. It's freaking Zelda! 

Discuss, and if a poll like this DOES exist, please don't yell at me. 

metroid, but mario's up there aswell.

very hard choice all of them have my favorite music.
but i'd go with Metroid because its different from the rest , and its very atmospheric.

Most of them have fantastic music, but when it comes down to it I'd have to say Zelda.

No one series has the best music. Metroid has some fantastic music, but it has a limited number of games. Mario has some great music, but its stretched over certain songs over many titles. Zelda also has great music, but like Mario, its certain songs over multiple titles. Kirby has great music, but its a different kind of music than the other games.

No Kirby or Pokemon love? 

And surprisingly little Mario love? 

I'd probably have to say Prime has my favourite soundtrack ever but musically I think the Zelda series is stronger on the whole.

My favorite soundtrack is The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, although Ocarina of Time, Super Metroid, and Super Mario Galaxy are worthy contenders.

Again. We could have saved all of this time and just say Zelda for everything~

Smash bros because it has music from all of them.
