But the Wii is d00med, and 3rd party devs don't make games for it because their games don't sell on Wii!

Tiger Woods 10 was better advertised, better reviewed and much better received on the Wii because of the clear adavantage, here are the sales from the last 3 versions of Wii.

Tiger Woods 10:   PS3 = .50, 360 = .51m

If anything the better Tiger Woods gets the less it sales on the Wii.

NHL2k10 on Wii (0.25m) doubled the next best NHL2k10 game (on PS2 actually), but only did half of EA's NHL 10.

With the extremely poor sales 2k Sports NHL games gets on the HD systems, it is no shock that they are dropping the HD systems for a year to revamp everything to try taking on EA.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

EA nhl 2010 = 88 on meta

2k NHL 2010 = 66 on meta

They need that time off badly and take their baseball game with them too.

Your obviously not taking into account that 09 was released a full year before 10, and as with most Wii games, the legs pull it further out. It still has a few good months before 11 is supposed to be released anyway.
