Unless The Last Guardian really sucks or slips into 2011 (which sadly I think is possible) then for me 2010 will be the much better year. I'm still replaying ICO and SOTC fairly regularly so for me this is my most anticipated titles for the PS3 so far.

Still, with GoW3, Heavy Rain, GT5 and FFXIII (in Europe) I guess 2010 is strong whatever.

Since I know so little about The Last Guardian, I'm gonna say 2009 has a slight edge. But this is likely to change, because Sony is likely to still announce a LOT of stuff, before the year ends and chances are, many of them will be released before 2011...

I don't see 2010 being better then 2009, Hope i am wrong, Heavy Rain is Great game, sales wise I just dont know, MAG great game, sales not great, God of War 3 is there big drop of the year, maybe GT5 if it actually comes out, but I think 2011 will be the real big year, we should see Killzone 3, Res,2 infamous 2, Maybe another Uncharted 3, Rage, Crisis 2, maybe Heavy Rain 2, or MAG 2, I am sure Sony will have a few new IPs also, so 2011 I think will be the hugh year, I just want to see PS3 stay on top

Sony will need atleast two big titles for the second half of the year, if one of them is GT5 and the other The Last Guardian, it will be epic win.

2009 was a great year for ps3 but 2010 wins simply because of Gow 3.

well I think it would be slight, because 2009 was a fantastic year for software for the PS3

and 2010 is also looking to be a whole new year of fantastic software for the ps3

2009 was awesome year for Games 2010 should be better with Games like GT5 and GOW3 and the release of the International Version of FFXIII.

That is the thing with the PS3, it seems like after each year, people change their opinions on their favorite game on the PS3. I still stick by 08 being the best year for PS3 owners, as MGS4, Resistance 2, MLB08:TS, and LBP was released. However, 2010 will be better as GT5, Yakuza 3, MLB10:TS, ModNation Racers, Heavy Rain and (fingers crossed) The Last Guardian could be released.
